Doug's Property Maintenance: from one page to eighteen
Doug fits fences and gates and looks after properties across North Somerset, from Clevedon and Portishead to Nailsea, Yatton and Weston-super-Mare. He's a registered waste carrier too. His first website was a single page. It didn't give Google, or customers, much to go on.

One page couldn't rank for nine towns. Eighteen can.
- 1
Where he started
Doug's original site was one page. It listed what he did, but there was nothing for Google to show someone searching for fence repairs in Nailsea or gate fitting in Portishead.
- 2
The rebuild
We rebuilt it as an 18-page site: a page for each service, a page for each area, and his reviews, gallery and quote form throughout.
- 3
His own domain
The site is live at dougspropertymaintenance.co.uk. Doug is on our £30 a month plan, which keeps it hosted, maintained and up to date.
The website
Built to show up across North Somerset
Fencing is a local search. Someone in Yatton types 'fence repair Yatton', not 'fencing contractor North Somerset'. That's why every area Doug covers gets its own page: Clevedon, Portishead, Yatton, Congresbury, Nailsea, Backwell, Weston-super-Mare and Bristol. Each service has a page too: fence installation, fence repair, gate supply and fitting, privacy screening, general property maintenance, and licensed waste clearance. His Environment Agency waste carrier licence and £5 million public liability insurance sit right on the page, because those are the details that make a stranger trust a fencer.
