Background
The person behind it
Matt spent over 15 years in the military working in welding, fabrication, repair and maintenance. That's a real reason to trust him with a job, so it's on the homepage, not buried on an About page.

Gordon's Home & Garden: a website as broad as the work
Matt runs Gordon's Home & Garden from Trowbridge. The name says garden. The work covers fencing, patios and decking, but also kitchens, bathrooms, flooring, plumbing and full refurbishments. Before this, he had no website, so there was nowhere online that showed the full range. The website had to make that obvious in five seconds.

If someone in Melksham needs a kitchen fitted, they won't click on a business called Home & Garden unless something tells them to. So the homepage headline is "Property Improvements Inside & Out", and straight below it sits a grid of everything Matt does.

Why separate pages
One page listing ten services ranks for none of them. Ten pages, each focused on one job, give Google ten chances to show Matt to someone searching for that exact job. We did the same with towns: Trowbridge, Bradford-on-Avon, Melksham and Westbury each have their own page.
From draft to launch
How it came together
Gordon's was the first client to come through our own outreach system from start to finish. We found his Google profile, built the site, and texted him the link. He replied, we talked it through, and the site was live the day after he said yes.
