Cullompton Carpenters: a website that started bringing in interest straight away
Nick Shutler is a carpenter in Cullompton, Devon. He takes on everything from carpentry and kitchens to fencing and small building jobs. He needed a site that showed the range of work he does and gave people a simple way to get in touch.
View the live website
Live on his own domain. Paid only once it was.
- 1
No upfront payment
We agreed a one-off fee and no lock-in. We also agreed not to invoice until the site was live on his own domain and connected to his Google Business Profile. Nick didn't pay a penny until he could see it working.
- 2
His domain, his account
Nick registered cullomptoncarpenters.co.uk on his own account. We set up the DNS so the website sits on a domain he owns outright, not one we control.
- 3
Connected to Google
Once the site was live we linked it to his Google Business Profile. People who find him on Maps can now click straight through to a proper website instead of a dead end.
The website
Built around everything he does
Plenty of carpenters do more than carpentry, and Nick is one of them. The site covers carpentry, kitchen and bathroom work, fencing, plumbing and electrical jobs, and minor construction. Each is written in plain language, so a homeowner in Cullompton knows straight away whether he's the right person to call.
